Kinja'd!!!

When you're tooling along in the second lane at 10-over with an Audi glued to your back bumper, approaching a known speed trap.

Back off to the speed limit, and Mr Tailgater finally makes his big brave move, along with the mandatory single-digit salute. And there's Mr Officer with his radar gun. And there's Mr Tailgater getting the "pull it on over" glare. And the disco lights.

I live for that shit.

Youre lucky! Cops never seem to be around when I need them to be!

It doesn't happen often, but when it does I love the whole instant-karma thing.

There needs to be more known speed traps. Did Waze tell you about it or is it a 'known' location?

Couldn't you have, you know, moved right? Then he wouldn't be on your bumper anymore...

Not when there's a perfectly good passing lane available. I should drop 10 mph and get into the slow lane because somebody else wants to be an asshole? Fuck that.

Screw that. That's why there is a "Passing" lane.

Those are the best! I'll never forget the time I hammered it through the Allegheny tunnels on the PA turnpike and some guy in a Maxima thought he'd catch up then show me a lesson. Too bad I knew something he didn't!

I see that all the time on the way to work. There is always a cop sitting on the side of the highway in the one spot. Usually he just sits there as a psychological speed deterrent until morning rush hour is over but sometimes he has his radar out. I usually cruise in the center lane but there are guys always passing left and right. I get a grin every time some guy gets lit up.

So this was a 3-lane and you were in the middle? I'm not sure what lane is the "second" lane you're referring to.

There is one spot near my house that a cop sits all the time. Any time I slow down and mister Prius decides to pass me at 70 in a 45, he isn't there. It's strange how it seems to work.

I remember one day when I lived in Alabama, I was driving through town and a guy passed me in a turn lane in a residential area. I still remember the satisfaction of having to slow down for the explosion of red and blue lights. The justice felt so good.

Exactly! There is this one road where the speed limit is 30 for no real reason at all... It should be like 45. So cops always sit at the little bends and get you so I go 35 max. Whenever I get passed by someone going like 60 the cop isn't around. But if I speed I know he will be there

It's on the inside of a curve going over a hill, perfect stealth location. They've been using it for at least 15 years (as long as I've been here).
